Positrol can hold your part if it has an internal or external spline, tapered or beveled gear and can grip either on the pitch, or minor/major diameter. A variety of actuation methods are possible including drawbar, tailstock, hydraulic or manual actuation.
Most designs have pullback action to maintain axial length and perpendicularity. Positrol chucks are sealed for long trouble-free life and have quick change features, thru spindle coolant, and air sensing capability. We always harden and grind each device for longer life and lower operating cost.
