Positrol Inc., a privately held small business, was established in 1961 to design and build workholding for the manufacturing industry.  We have grown over the years in physical size and sales volume.  

Positrol guarantees its workholding device will hold your part repeatably to the specifications provided.  With a high success rate, we pride ourselves in developing the right workholding that works for you.   

We strive to create and standardize new products that will meet your needs.  Through either internal development or through acquisition, Positrol will be able to provide you the right workholding device for your application.

Positrol Workholding designs and builds special workholding for specific customers needs.  Superior Cincinnati was developed to manufacture standard collet chucks and collet pads.  Langlois was acquired to increase product offering to the aerospace industry and City Machine intellectual property was purchased to provide workholding for prismatic applications.
